Esoterotica, Erotica from New Orleans, is always seeking sensual, sexual, or simply scandalous poetry, flash, confessions, and narrative nonfiction for our Live Show at The AllWays Lounge & Cabaret. So, if you live in the New Orleans area and have something sexy to share, email us to submit your original erotica or learn more at info@esoterotica.com.
Please Review our general writing guidelines prior to submission. We do also recommend you attend at least one of our shows before reading with us to get a feel for our format, style, and atmosphere. Esoterotica is not an open mic. Submissions are required in advance to be performed on our stage.
There are endless methods of arousing desire, and we’re always eager to be touched in new ways. That being said, we have a few ground rules to help ensure your erotica is right for us and our audiences:
Send your original erotica to info@esoterotica.com either pasted into the body of an email or attached as a .doc(x), .prf, or .rtf file. We prefer attachments to Drive links.
Include your name and what show you are submitting for as well as any trigger warnings or other information about your piece in your email before your submission.
Please do not submit multiple pieces or send links to your online blog or portfolio. Submit one piece at a time for the show at which you are planning to perform.
The Deadline to Submit for any show is the Sunday evening prior to that show, by 8pm. For instance, if the show is on Wednesday, March 4th, pieces must be emailed by 8pm Sunday, March 1st.
We will respond to your submission as soon as possible. However, if you do not hear from us within 3 days, you may want to check in to make sure we did receive your submission and it was not accidentally sent to the ‘spam’ folder.
Esoterotica does not use or condone the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation or writing of pieces submitted or performed at our shows and expressly prohibits any use of works, including images, submitted or performed at our shows from being used to “train” generative artificial intelligence (AI) to generate text or images, without limiting the author’s exclusive rights under copyright.
